FOLLOWING the success of their Latin American leg of The Way You Yawn, and the Outcry of Peace world tour, the Japanese rock band, Radwimps, is currently preparing to bring the tour to Asia, including Jakarta, which will be held on May 19 2024.
To accommodate the huge demand from fans in Indonesia, Radwimps, today, announced the move of their Jakarta concert location to the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Exhibition Hall B.
Tickets that have been purchased can still be used and all ticket holders will immediately receive an email regarding further information from PK Entertainment and SOZO as the promoter.
Meanwhile, remaining Radwimps concert tickets in Jakarta can still be purchased at www.radwimpsinjakarta2024.com.
Recently Radwimps announced that Japanese singer Toaka, who sang on the song Suzume, would also join as a guest star on their Asian tour.
Radwimps collaborated with music composer Kazuma Jinnouchi to create the soundtrack and score for the film Suzume, directed by Makoto Shinkai.

Toaka, initially, auditioned to sing on one of the songs written by Radwimps for the film. It turns out that Toaka was chosen and her beautiful voice colored Suzume’s song on the film’s soundtrack album.
Toaka entered the music industry via a path that many singers of his generation often take. The 21 year old musician caught the attention of TikTok users through a number of covers and original songs.
A number of major music labels came to him simultaneously when he was featured on Suzume’s song.

Toaka has also just released his first EP through Universal Music Worldwide entitled Boku dakeno Ai, which showcases his extraordinary musicality and all his colorful personality.
The songs on Toaka’s first EP have a unique and varied approach. The song Discord-disco shows another side of Toaka, while the song Cinder ella is colored with a stomping dance beat.
Meanwhile, Toaka’s vocal dynamics shine in the song Boku Dakega Ai. Toaka’s lyrics on this EP balance two things – the various desires of his youthful soul and other things that are darker in nature. (RO/Z-1)
