Designer Isabella Martín, recognized for her ruana inspired by women and the ancestral tradition of Puente Nacional, Santander, revealed to Vanguardia that she was invited to New York Fashion Week.

There, a world-renowned designer collective called Canvas has shown interest in its history. “In addition, they have plans to position my brand in the business center of New York, the World Trade Center. I have also received a very special invitation to share my story and present my work on the catwalk,” says Isabella.
Isabella’s designs will not only be on the runway, but will also be displayed on screens in Times Square.
“It will be wonderful to see our show and the presentation of the brand in one of the most emblematic places in the world,” says Isabella.
New York Fashion Week will take place from Friday, September 6 to Wednesday, September 11.

“I started researching the ruana, inspired by the weavers and embroiderers and finally delivered a fuchsia-colored ruana inspired by the typical costumes of the region and is a tribute to the ancestors of embroidery and weaving of the region,” he comments. the designer from Santander.
