The long-awaited medieval strategy Manor Lords was released in Steam early access with Ukrainian localization

Players can finally play Manor Lords, a strategy game developed by developer Greg Steachen all by himself. Previously, it became the most desired game on Steam, with more than 3 million gamers adding it to their wishlists.

The peak online game currently has 108,943 players and growing. Manor Lords combines medieval-style city-building with massive RTS battles in which the player defends his settlement while trying to conquer other regions.

“Manor Lords is a strategy in which everyone will be able to feel like a real medieval lord. Develop your starting village into a large, bustling city, manage resources and production chains, and conquer new lands,” the game’s description reads.

The developer says that Manor Lords is based on Frankish painting and architecture of the end of the 14th century, and tries to adhere to historical accuracy in everything – both in game mechanics and in external design.

The game costs UAH 600 in the Ukrainian Steam region (but there is currently a 25% discount) and has a Ukrainian localization, which is often added to its projects by the publisher Hooded Horse, which specializes in strategies and construction simulators.

Greg Steachen plans for Manor Lords to be in early access for regarding a year, but that might change depending on the development process based on player feedback. It is noted that the price of the project may increase with the addition of new content.

Earlier, the developer said that he hoped to get only 14,000 wishlists, but instead he collected millions.
