Terrorist attack in Moscow, Russian President Putin’s important statement

Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed to avenge the attack in Moscow, saying that the four people who attacked the concert were trying to escape to Ukraine when they were caught.

According to the Reuters news agency, while addressing the nation, the Russian president said that the fate of terrorists, murderers and inhumane behavior is only revenge.

Describing the attack as an act of brutality and terrorism, he said that the four persons directly involved in the attack and who shot dead people have been found and detained.

The Russian president said the attackers tried to escape and were traveling to Ukraine, where preliminary information indicated there were people on the Ukrainian side who had prepared a route to get them across the border.

He also compared the attackers to the Nazis and said that this attack was an atrocity that was done to Russia and our people.

He declared a day of mourning across the country on Sunday, saying that all the perpetrators, organizers and those who ordered the crime will be brought to justice and punished.

Russia has arrested 11 people involved in Saturday’s attack, the FSB security service said.

On Saturday night, terrorists opened fire in a concert hall in Moscow, killing 133 people and injuring more than 180.

10 attackers dressed in military clothes entered the concert hall building and fired indiscriminately and then threw grenades. 133 people have been killed and 185 injured in the attack so far.
