The holy month of Ramadan is going on all over the world, but the usurper Israel has made life difficult for the oppressed Muslims of Palestine and Gaza in this holy month, and while respecting Ramadan, dozens of Palestinians, including women and children in large numbers, are being killed every day. including is making its target. More than 30,000 Palestinians have been martyred and thousands injured in this war that has been going on for almost five and a half months.

Several countries have demanded a ceasefire from Israel during Ramadan, but the occupying state is not ready to do so. United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres was also moved by the plight of Gazans and started fasting to show solidarity with them.

In this regard, Antonio Guterres, while expressing solidarity with the Palestinian Muslims, has shared a very emotional message on the social networking website X (formerly Twitter), in which he has revealed that he himself fasts in Ramadan.

The Secretary General of the UN wrote in his post that during his Ramadan solidarity mission, I am fasting in respect of the beliefs of the Muslim people, seeing and knowing that my heart is crying tears of blood that millions of Palestinians in Gaza. A proper Iftar is not available.

It should be noted that Antonio Guterres has been demanding and emphasizing a ceasefire in Gaza since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
