Australia declares Pakistani guard killed in knife attack a national hero – Pakistan

The last rites of Pakistani security guard Faraz Tahir, who was killed by a knife-wielding assailant on April 13 in a shopping mall in Sydney, Australia, will be performed tomorrow (Friday). Prime Minister of Australia Anthony Albanese will also be present on this occasion. It should be noted that Faraz Tahir has been given the status of a national hero.

When Faraz Tahir saw a man attacking women in Sydney’s Bondi Junction shopping mall, he immediately rushed to save them. By then he had fatally wounded five women assailants. Another 12 people were also injured in his attacks.

During the rapid attacks, Joel Kachi also stabbed Faraz Tahir several times.

Faraz Tahir’s family has reached Sydney from Pakistan. He visited the dead body of Faraz Tahir a day before the memorial service and also organized a prayer ceremony for him.
