President López Obrador stated that today he will have a new meeting with CNTE personnel, he said that his government respects them and “we recognize that they were the only defenders of public education at the time when the liberal governments wanted to privatize education.” he said during his press conference.

The president assured that there has been progress despite criticism from some members of the CNTE. He pointed out that despite the workers’ disagreement, it is not like before, in relation to the strikes they organize.

AMLO denies that Sheinbaum’s military security team failed to allow hooded men to approach

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador spoke regarding the images in which Claudia Sheinbaum, candidate for the Presidency of the Republic for Continue Making History, holds a conversation with people who set up a roadblock on a highway in Motozintla, Chiapas.

In La Mañanera this Monday, April 22, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador spoke regarding the checkpoint that detained Morena’s presidential candidate, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, on Sunday in Chiapas. The events occurred in the Motozintla area, one of the areas most affected by crime, and a group of hooded men asked the candidate to please not forget the poor people, because the current government “has not done anything.”

AMLO says he is happy regarding the rains recorded in the Valley of Mexico

President López Obrador said he was happy regarding the intense rain that was recorded for at least an hour. He refused to comment regarding the debate of the candidates for the Head of Government of Mexico City.
