Arundhati Nair, the actress of Indian Tamil films who gained fame from the film ‘Seethan’, is in a life and death struggle following a dangerous traffic accident.
Arundhati met with an accident on March 14 when she was traveling along the Chennai Kovalam bypass road on a motorcycle with her brother. Her sister Aarti Nair confirmed the news on Instagram and said that the actress is on ventilator support and her condition is critical.
According to the sister, ‘We felt the need to explain the news broadcast on newspapers and television channels in Tamil Nadu. My sister Arundhati Nair is seriously injured in an accident 3 days ago and is on ventilator in Ananthapuri Hospital, Trivandrum, she is fighting for her life.
Arundhati’s friend and actress Gopika Anil has asked her followers and fans for financial help as the actress’ family is unable to meet the medical expenses.
The friend wrote that, ‘The daily expenses of the hospital are becoming so high that their expenses cannot be borne. We are doing our part but it seems insufficient to meet the needs. I request you all to please contribute in whatever way possible so that it will be of great help to his family.’
Arundhati made her acting debut in 2014 with the film Ponge Izu Manohara. She later became a popular face in Tamil following the film Sethan. He also worked with Shine Tom Chacko in Otakuro Kamoken (2018). He was last seen in Ayram Poorkasokal (2023).
