MOPC improves local roads in Guairá and Caaguazú for the benefit of more than 3,000 residents

Asunción, IP Agency.- Crews from the Ministry of Public Works (MOPC) intervened and restored passability on four local roads in the departments of Guairá and Caaguazú for the benefit of more than 3,000 residents.

In the city of Borja, in the department of Guairá, road personnel from District No. 4 carried out pipe cleaning work in the most clogged and deteriorated sectors of route D017, between the towns of Óga Lata and Cordillera, where they travel around 2,500 people.

In turn, the rehabilitation of sewers was carried out in the section that connects the municipality of Villarrica with the Tororõ and Cerro Polilla companies, frequented by numerous tourists who visit the attractions of the area.

On the other hand, the MOPC teams stationed in Caaguazú, performed embankment loading, lateral cleaning, cuneteado, conformation and profiling along 4.5 km of the route that serves as access to the indigenous community Guayaki, Mururu I, where regarding 60 families reside.
