The defense lawyers said that the detainees are not involved in the events accused by the MP.

In November 2023, authorities captured the alleged members of the criminal structure and the alleged client, Renato José Cabrera Figueroa, who stated in the hearing that he paid for sexual services from a woman.

“I, through WhatsApp, hired a person to a place, where we agreed that I might acquire a sexual service. I showed up at the scene, made the payment for this service and at that moment was when I was found,” said Cabrera Figueroa.

The MP affirmed that there is enough evidence to send the alleged members of the criminal structure to trial. Among the evidence are cell phones, cash, objects for the provision of sexual services and financial documents.

Recently, Hugo Leonel Ajcuc Tacatic, Nancy Paola Macario and Patricia Lucero Morales along with Irsa Gabriela Morales were linked to criminal proceedings for the crimes of money laundering and illicit association. The four are named by the MP in the “Bora Bora Spa” case.
