“The public sector is the recipient of the money, and it’s crazy if the service is bad. After bad service, the car does not drive, and this also happens with indicators of wealth.” “Public service is an area in which teachers, police officers, doctors work, and they can work just as well privately – namely by selling their services. The fact that the state purchases them centrally justifies the collection of taxes and another caste that supervises everything. These are officials who, look at it the way you want, do not create any values or wealth. Their task is to see that the common good is spent for its intended purpose and as the legislator decided.”

The author of a business magazine praises Latvian exports as the main source of funds for the country. “It doesn’t matter how much EU funds are used or how much money is borrowed in a year. In all the attraction of this pseudo-money, the biggest problem is that man-hours are wasted, which might generate real values, the real wealth of Latvia. Disproportionate efforts are made to move the already created money from one pocket to another, and this begins to be regarded as wealth creation. In order for money to be generated, you need to create goods and services, and not write algorithms on how to properly prepare beet salad or how to “turn on” one another even better. This is an empty competition for money already created, and its result is inevitably poverty. If values are not created in the state, or more precisely, if not enough people do this in the state, then we inevitably become poor, because we spend too much.”

“Every person who receives a state salary,” the publicist continues, “pays his social tax from the pocket of the creator of wealth, the added value for bread – and in the same way, and at the moment when the indicators of wealth become proportionally insufficient, the transfer of money from one pocket to another dries up , because also writing projects is the movement of created money. Already at this moment Latvia’s gross domestic product is being created to a large extent this way. There are regions where more people work in public services than in private ones, and this is due to an erroneous scale of values.”

“In Europe, the average number of people employed in the public sector is regarding 16%,” the weekly emphasizes. – Not 286 thousand out of 886 thousand workers. That is, the number of people receiving government salaries must be reduced by at least 100 thousand people, and they must become money creators. Then teachers, police officers, officials will be motivated, and there will be competitions for vacancies.” “This time, unlike the last crisis, it would be necessary for everyone who leaves the public sector to enter a special system of education and vocational guidance and actually reach a workplace in the private sector in Latvia.”
