The Jakarta Electric PLN women’s volleyball TEAM is looking at the 2024 Proliga with great optimism by marking two decades of participation in the most prestigious volleyball competition in Indonesia, Yolla Yuliana and her friends are ready to kick off the 2024 Proliga.
Since first competing in the 2004 Proliga, the Jakarta Electric PLN women’s volleyball team has collected six trophies, namely the 2004, 2009, 2011, 2015, 2016 and 2017 editions. This achievement makes Jakarta Electric PLN listed as the women’s club with the most Proliga titles throughout. history.
Jakarta Electric PLN filled its squad with experienced players, such as Yolla Yuliana, Maya Kurnia Indri, Faiska Dwi Permata Ratri, and Eris Septia Wulandari. Meanwhile, the foreign players are Katerina Zhidkova (Azerbaijan) and Indre Sorokaite (Italy).
PLN President Director, Darmawan Prasodjo, hopes that Jakarta Electric PLN can return to the competitive map at the top of the Proliga. The results of last season, where Jakarta Electric PLN failed to reach the final four, are used as evaluation material to be able to perform better in the 2024 Proliga.
“Seeing the players’ thorough preparation, plus the presence of experienced and junior players, we hope that Jakarta Electric PLN can kick off the 2024 Proliga. Currently, our focus is on qualifying for the top four. “We are optimistic that we can make it happen,” said Darmawan in his statement, Tuesday (23/4).
Jakarta Electric PLN entrusted the position of head coach to Chamnan Dokmai. The coach from Thailand is not a new name in Proliga and has a history of winning. Jakarta Electric PLN also recruited Peemmawat Boonjan as a technique coach.

“Jakarta Electric PLN has a good history, they have won six times. “I am sure, this season, we can return to the final because we have good players, a good training program and extraordinary support from management,” said Chamnan Dokmai.
Meanwhile, Maya Kurnia Indri Sari, who is returning to strengthen Jakarta Electric PLN in the 2024 Proliga, hopes that her team will remain solid until the end. The player who plays as a middle blocker is optimistic that Jakarta Electric PLN can be more than the top four.
“Hopefully by the end of the competition no players will be injured, everyone will be healthy, stay solid and become a dream team.
