In this regard, the director of the Eleventh Health Region, Dr. Roque Silva, provided some data regarding the number of infections in the eleventh department. “The day before there were 527 positive cases, of which 175 are from the central area, and we are reaching three thousand infected patients since the pandemic began,” he said.

“For this reason, it is important to call on citizens to take care of themselves and comply with health measures, such as physical distancing, frequent hand washing and the use of face masks. “That is the only vaccine currently and the way to defeat Covid-19, which is outside of hospitals,” he added.
“That should be the safe way to live during this time of pandemic. The group of people who do not take care of themselves and do not become aware are the ones who are getting infected, that is why we need the controls to return during the weekends,” he added.
