According to the report of the AFP news agency, despite the resolution of the cease-fire in the United Nations Security Council last Monday, Israel’s attacks continue, and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza has increased.

According to the World Health Organization, at least 4 people were martyred and 17 injured in an Israeli airstrike on al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, Gaza. Al-Aqsa Hospital spokesman Khalid al-Dakran said that several journalists were among those injured in the attack.

The Israeli military claimed that the attack targeted a command center operated by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad group. The government media office in Gaza said the airstrikes hit a tent where displaced people were sheltering and journalists were working.

WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus called for a ceasefire and called for the protection of patients, health workers and humanitarian missions.

He added that more than 130 Palestinian journalists have been martyred since October.

The Israeli army has been attacking al-Aqsa Hospital and its surroundings, among other medical facilities in Gaza.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least 77 people, including mostly women and children, were killed in Israeli bombing and ground attacks in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Palestinian martyrs to 32,782.

Netanyahu’s surgery

On the other hand, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office announced that Netanyahu has undergone a ‘hernia’ surgery, following which he is now feeling better.

The surgery of the Israeli Prime Minister was done on the evening of March 31. According to the statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, a hernia was detected in him during a routine check-up on March 30, following which the surgery was decided.

After the surgery, a statement was issued that Netanyahu’s surgery was successful and he is fully conscious.

The new Palestinian cabinet was sworn in

The new Palestinian government, which includes 4 women and 6 ministers from Gaza, was sworn in on March 31, but was already facing skepticism from its own people.

Newly elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa said his government’s “first priority” was to end the war.

Mustafa said his main goal was to rebuild the Palestinian territories, which have been devastated by Israeli bombardment following nearly six months of fighting in Gaza.

His new cabinet consists of 23 ministers and includes 4 women and 6 ministers from Gaza.
