As a form of appreciation and sign of love for Carlo Saba, the latest single entitled “As Far as Two Continents” was released by Kahitna on April 19 2024, exactly 1 year since Carlo Saba passed away to face his Creator.
“The song ‘As Far as Two Continents’ is one of the singles recorded and involves Carlo Saba. This song is also a remake of Alm’s favorite song. Carlo,” said Yovie Widianto. For these strong reasons, Kahitna agreed to re-release the song previously sung by Arsy Widianto and Brisia Jodie.
In the previous version, this song was sung with a beat feel and provided a musical atmosphere and packaging progressive with a contemporary style by Arsy and Jodie who are more influenced by Korean music styles, this time Kahitna is here by presenting more of a strong Western musical feel, but still highlighting Kahitna’s characteristics, both in terms of progression and vocal harmonization of the three vocalists.
The release of this latest work seemed to be a happy touch that was very interesting during the process of making it, but when now it is translated word for word, for Kahitna it actually becomes a beautiful memory for them and means a lot from Carlo Saba.
