The arrest took place in the Hacienda Real Fractionation, a residential sector of the municipality of Autlán de Navarro, in the state of Jalisco.
After his arrest, Abraham Oseguera was transferred to the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office for Organized Crime (FEMDO) located in the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s office in Mexico City.

His brother Nemesio Oseguera alias “El Mencho” is considered the leader of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel, which is based in that state with coasts on the Pacific. The organization disputes lucrative drug trafficking routes to the United States with the Sinaloa Cartel.
According to an interview conducted by the AP media with security analyst David Saucedo, “Don Rodo” was mainly in charge of drug shipments to the United States, having some transfer routes under his control.
Therefore, he had had a shadow role, “he is one of the brothers of “El Mencho” but he did not have a bloodthirsty profile nor did he lead shock groups, but rather he had a more discreet role in administrative activities within the cartel,” according to David Saucedo for AP.

Abraham Oseguera Cervantes is considered one of the main coordinators of the cartel’s logistical and financial operations, dedicated to money laundering and in charge of drug trafficking and sales.
In 1990, in San Francisco, California, in the United States, “Don Rodo” and “El Mencho” were arrested for selling heroin to undercover police officers; following accepting their guilt, the sentence was reduced to 10 years in prison.
According to the national arrest registry, Abraham is a male person, with white hair, dark hair, approximately 1.70 meters tall, who was arrested wearing a red, blue and white long-sleeved checkered shirt with pants. blue denim and black boots.
