LPS Legal Executive Director, Ary Zulfikar, married his fifth son, Avicenna Athalla Zaki Ghani Alli (Athalla), to Saras Shintya Putri (Chacha), daughter of MPR Chairman Bambang Soesatyo. The wedding ceremony which took place in Jakarta, President Joko Widodo was the bride’s witness and Vice President Ma’ruf Amin was the groom’s witness.
Representing the groom’s party, Ustaz Othman Omar Shihab handed over Athalla Zaki Ghani Alli to the bride’s family which was received by the family representative, Ahmad Sahroni, Deputy Chair of Commission III of the DPR. Bambang Soesatyo as a parent directly became the guardian of the marriage of the bride and groom. Vice President HR Agung Laksono expressed his thanks to the invited guests who attended.
In marriage advice, Ma’ruf Amin said that to be harmonious in family life, there needs to be mutual understanding, mutual understanding of each other, so that a harmonious relationship is created in the household. Ary Zulfikar added that his party felt very happy to be able to take his son to marriage. “As parents, we feel happy and hope that they can make their marriage last and become a sakinah ma waddah warrahmah family,” he explained on the sidelines of the wedding ceremony, Saturday (20/4/2024).
Athalla is the fifth son of Ary Zulfikar and Dewi Tenty Septi Artiany. He graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia and won 1st Best Speaker in General Rounds in the 22nd International Law Arbitration Moot competition which was held annually by Murdoch University School of Law, Australia.
On the other hand, Bambang Soesatyo conveyed his blessing to the bride and groom. In his message, he said that living in this world should never seek perfection. This is because no matter when and wherever we look for it we will never find it in the world.
“Start arranging the beginning of this love story with the man of your choice who has just said qabul. Don’t ever compare your husband with any man. Because he is also holding back from comparing you with any woman. In fact, from now on, your paradise has now moved to men. “Your choice. Be an obedient, responsible wife and achieve His blessing as a path to heaven. The ups and downs of marriage cannot be avoided,” explained Bamsoet.
Bamsoet also reminded that marriage is not just regarding living together in the same house. However, this is regarding living together, building a house full of love and fortified by strong faith so that we are always able to uphold our commitment to mutually strengthen each other and always surrender ourselves to God Almighty.
