As part of the Council’s work today, His Highness was informed of the latest developments in the country’s national service export development agenda, since “our total service exports reached 606 billion dirhams in 2023, compared to 570 billion, of which more than 170 billion dirhams were exports of digital services that same year. As for the United Arab Emirates’ total foreign trade, all goods and services combined, in 2023, it reached a record figure of 4,445 billion dirhams.

His Highness noted that “according to a report released by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the UAE ranked 15th in the world in terms of foreign direct investment abroad in 2023, investments from countries abroad amounting to more than 880 billion dirhams at the beginning of 2023.”

His Highness added: “Our economic journey continues and accelerates, and our development achievements continue and will not stop. We ask God to grant us prosperity, stability, security and safety.
