“Alien” Märt’s hair, “Invisible Fight” saint’s skull, “Savvusanna sisters” sauna cup and ladle.

These and many other items from Estonian films will be auctioned at the Haapsalu horror and fantasy film festival starting on Friday to support Ukraine.

The items have been displayed by Estonian filmmakers and the proceeds from their sale are donated by HÕFF to the Rescue Association, which provides rescue equipment and equipment and first aid supplies for Ukrainian rescuers and deminers. There is a particularly big shortage of demining equipment in Ukraine, because an area of ​​more than 250,000 square meters is waiting to be cleared of mines – more than five Estonia in total.

The following will be auctioned:

  • Saint’s mug from Rainer Sarnet’s film “The Invisible Struggle” with autographs of the director, lead actors Ursel Tilga and Ester Kuntu and producer Katrin Kissa (donor studio Homeless Bob Productions)
  • Märt’s framed lock of hair and Rasmus Merivoo’s beard from the film “Alien 2” with autographs of the director and main actors Ott Sepa and Märt Avand (donor Rasmus Merivoo)
  • Silkscreen image from Jaan Toomik’s video “Father and son” – one of the most famous works of contemporary Estonian art – numbered and signed (donor Jaan Toomik)
  • The sauna stove, ladle and mitt and two shirts used in the advertising campaign of Anna Hints’ film “Savvusanna’s Sisters” together with the autographs of director Anna Hints, producer Marianne Ostrat, cameraman Ants Tammiku, editor Hendrik Mägar and member of the ensemble Eeter Ann Reimann (donors Marianne Ostrat and studio Alexandra Film)
  • Numbered and signed giclee print of Priit and Olga Pärn’s cartoon “Life without Gabriella Ferrita” (donors Priit and Olga Pärn)
  • The director’s script of Jaak Kilmi’s film “The Upside Down Tower” with the director’s handwritten additions and a poster with autographs of authors and actors (donor Jaak Kilmi)
  • Decorations and puppets from Oskar Lehemaa’s puppet film “Lost Socks”, designed by Ivika Luisk, with the director’s autograph DVD “Poop, spring and others” and movie posters (donors Oskar Lehemaa and studio A Film Eesti)
  • A unique poster of the first exhibition of Tallinnfilm Surrealists in 1986 with the autographs of Priit Pärna, Hardi Volmer, Mati Küti, Rao Heidmets, Hillar Metsa and Miljard Kilgi (donor Hardi Volmer)
  • A cow from Priit Tender’s puppet film “Koerkorter”, which was shortlisted for the Oscars, with a poster signed by the director (donors Priit Tender and Nukufilm).
  • Exclusive hoodie and poster of the film crew of Tanel Toom’s film “The Last Sentinel” with the director’s autograph (donors Ivo Felt and Allfilm studio)
  • A leather coat from Hardi Volmer’s film “My Lenins” worn by Peeter Volkonski, who played the revolutionary Grigory Zinoviev, later Erkki-Sven Tüür performed in the same coat when he performed the song “Masskommunikation” at Singer Vinger’s 20th birthday concert (donor Hardi Volmer)
  • Doll Lennart from Kaspar Jancis’s puppet film Antipolis, modeled following John Malkovich, with a poster autographed by the director (donors Priit Tender and Nukufilm)
  • Driver’s license of the chainsaw killer from Sander Maran’s film “The Chainsaws Sung” with autographs from the film crew (donors Sander Maran and Marani Bros studio)
  • Mart Sander’s surprise donation

The auction will take place on Saturday at 19:30 in the large hall of the Haapsalu Cultural Center before the screening of the film “Stopmotion”.

The auction is chaired by Mart Sander.

The saw from Sander Maran’s film “Chainsaws sang” will be exceptionally auctioned at the opening of the festival.

Ukraine can also be supported with a regular donation by transferring the word “Ukraine” to the account of the Rescue League EE547700771002741382.

The auction of film-themed items will take place at HÕFF for the third time. Last year, almost 4,000 euros were collected to support Ukraine.

The Haapsalu horror and fantasy film festival will take place on the 26th-28th. until April.
