Vienna – Amnesty International (AI) sees serious human rights problems in Austria. In the annual report 2023/24 published on Wednesday, the human rights organization sees deficiencies in measures against violence against women, in the care of unaccompanied refugee children and in access to social assistance. With a view to the upcoming elections, AI Austria managing director Shoura Hashemi spoke of a “fateful year for human rights in Austria”.
