The demand in the most famous kitchen in Mexico becomes increasingly difficult, and its level increases, and following a poor execution in the preparation of her dish, the participant Sandra Itzel became the sixth eliminated from MasterChef Celebrity Mexico.
Sandra executed El Sinaloense, a dish that for the chefs was not good, because the fish, the protein she used, was cut very thin, the mixture was good, but the execution failed, so she had to say goodbye to the competition.
In the sixth broadcast of the MasterChef Celebrity program, it was the host Claudia Lizaldi who received the celebrities who remain in contention, as well as the demanding judges: Zahie Téllez, Adrián Herrera and Poncho Cadena.
On this occasion, the participants did not find a mystery box at their respective station, but they were told that for the first challenge of the night, they were expected to prepare desserts individually.
To find out what type of dessert they had to cook, a dynamic was carried out through a raffle. All the celebrities chose a sphere and in this way they were assigned the type of dessert: Fig tart: Ferka, Ernesto and Rafa , Mango cheesecake: Raúl, Itatí and Itzel, Thousand leaves of red fruits: Rey Grupero, Natalia and Litzy, Tatin tarte: Jawy, Rossana and Harold and Pear strudel: Paco de Miguel, Sandra Itzel and Laura.
This test involved a great challenge for the cooks since most of them had not made pastries, and even did not fully know the assigned desserts. As an advantage, they found the ingredients that each dessert needed already ready at their station. Additionally, it was requested that its preparation include a pairing of rosé, white and red wine.
In this challenge, the chefs named Rey Grupero the winner to be captain of the next field challenge, so he also had to make pairs to face each other in the second test of the night.
In the well-known salvation challenge, celebrities played Black Jack to choose the protein to prepare. Natalia (mushrooms) vs Sandra (truffle), Raúl (duck) vs Paco de Miguel (chicken), Jawy (porterhouse) vs Ferka (steak), Harold (pork) vs Ernesto (wild boar) and Itzel (caviar) vs Litzy (masago ).
Before the experts’ tasting, the celebrities who won the duels were: Jawy, Ernesto and Litzy, so they had the opportunity to go up to the balcony. While in the duels of Sandra vs. Natalia and Paco deMiguel vs. Raúl there was no winner since none of the dishes achieved the goal of the challenge, so they were sent to the elimination challenge.
In this last challenge, participants were assigned a chef to mentor, a state, and a protein. The luck of this game placed them in the following position: Raúl: Chef Poncho, Jalisco and mushrooms, Ferka: Chef Herrera, Tabasco and shrimp, Paco de Miguel: Chef Poncho, Baja California and chocolate clams, Natalia: Chef Zahie, Hidalgo and escamoles, Sandra: Chef Zahie, Sinaloa and callo de hacha, Harold: Chef Herrera, Tamaulipas and fish and, finally Itzel: Chef Zahie, Michoacán and charales.
Unfortunately, Sandra’s dish did not meet the chefs’ expectations, which was not good, and was not executed correctly, so she had to hand over her apron and say goodbye to MasterChef Celebrity.
