Anitha Clemence and Joel-Åhlén Nyström have broken up following seven years together.
The dream of a joint child finally broke the relationship.
– Joel really wants to have children, while I have been quite clear that I don’t want any more, says Anitha Clemence to Aftonbladet.
It was 2017 as the entrepreneur and influencer Anitha Clemence46, went on to say that she had met love in the journalist and the copywriter Joel Åhlén-Nyström34. But for some time now they are no longer a couple, something Anitha Clemence writes regarding Social Media.
“The baby elephant grew out of the room and I have had neither the energy nor the biological desire to become a mother once more, even though over the years I have tried to bring it regarding in various ways. We had an early miscarriage at the beginning of the relationship and following that my strength or longing for children never really came back,” she writes, among other things.

Didn’t want to become a mother following the miscarriage
Aftonbladet has been in contact with Anitha Clemence.
– The reason why we have broken up is that we have been harrowing this issue of children for many years on and off. It hasn’t been a discussion all along, but it bubbles up at regular intervals, says Anitha Clemence and continues:
– Joel really wants to have children, while I have been quite clear that I don’t want any more children. I’ve been 100 percent honest regarding it, then we got pregnant by accident and it resulted in a miscarriage. Then I felt that I wasn’t quite up to going through it once more and maybe I wasn’t as eager for children as I had hoped I would be. I didn’t have the maternal urge to be a mother once more.
It is with mixed feelings that the couple now go their separate ways.
– It’s obviously very sad, but in the end we do this to be nice to each other and it’s fairest for both of us. We want to be together, but it’s unfair to hold each other hostage.

Suggested other ways to have children
Anitha Clemence says that she was even open to solving the child issue in other ways than the conventional way.
– I have said that it can possibly be done with external partners or solve it in other ways in order to continue to have a relationship. Since then he has not wanted it, for him it was important that it should be our child. Then he realized that it might not be like that.
How is your relationship now?
– We are best friends and he still lives here. But he is renovating his new apartment and mine is up for sale, I want a fresh start following this.
How are you doing in all this?
– Sometimes it is more constructive to be enemies. You have one fight and then it’s over. I’ll be honest and say this is bloody painful. But it will probably be good for both on the other side. I look ahead.
Anitha Clemence was previously married to Calle Schulman and together they have the children Penny13, and Tom Allan9.
