LDC CAF: Mazembe puts its future against Al Alhy in the hands of Nicolas Kazadi

After the draw at the Kamalondo stadium once morest Al Alhy of Cairo in the semi-final first leg of the Champions League, Tout Puissant Mazembe wants to travel to Egypt with all the resources available in order to seek qualification. And to do this, the black and white club wants to strengthen itself thanks to the support of the Congolese government via the Ministry of Finance Nicolas Kazadi.

Le Tout Puissant Mazembe accuses the Congolese government of owing him $6 million following 3 years without any funding. The team reveals to Jeune Afrique that everything will depend on the payment of the ravens’ rights by the government, because according to them, the training opposite benefits from great financial support from their country. Nicolas Kazadi can therefore choose between victory or failure for Katumbi’s men on Egyptian lands.

“the Congolese government via its Minister of Finance Nicolas Kazadi will have to urgently disburse the blocked funds of this club to the tune of $6 million to allow this team to face the significant costs to date and above all, to take us to the qualification once morest Al Alhy. Nicolas Kazadi will be solely responsible for everything that happens during the return match if he does not deduct the money from the marginalized club, persecuted and deprived of its financing,” said TP Mazembe.

For Mazembe, the “bad will” of the Congolese authorities towards his person has no reason to exist following all the sacrifices he makes for the honor of the DRC. In the African Super League for example, the black and white club reveals that it only received $250,000 from CAF of the sum of $550,000 it had left, the $300,000 subtracted as a penalty following the refusal of the Congolese government to release materials for the match which was to be played in Lubumbashi.

“Of the $550,000 that the club was to receive, $300,000 of the Penalties were deducted following the refusal of the Congolese Government to release the materials for the match which was to be played at Kamalondo in Lubumbashi, a match that will be remembered which was relocated to Tanzania. Finally, out of $1 million, TP Mazembe, the only club that is the pride of Congolese football, only received $250,000,” he concludes.
