“Bohamroun.”

The aforementioned sources pointed out that dozens of cases in the community’s districts are suffering from “Bouhamroun” symptoms, as they await rescue from this epidemic, which the World Health Organization has warned will continue in light of global setbacks in monitoring efforts and declining immunization rates.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection had announced an increase in measles cases in Morocco, especially in the Souss-Massa region, in a global context characterized by significant increases in the number of cases and their spread around the world, including European and African countries, the United States of America, and other regions of the world.
The Ministry confirmed that it had undertaken, through its regional and regional departments, a set of field measures by strengthening epidemiological monitoring activities and vaccination campaigns, which made it possible to contain the speed of its spread, and this is what made the cases recorded in recent weeks concentrated in the regions of Taroudant and Chtouka Ait Baha.
Field epidemiological investigations concluded that there was a decrease in demand for vaccination in a group of population centers, which contributed to the spread of the virus and the emergence of hotspots of disease cases.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection stated that vaccination is the most effective way to prevent many infectious diseases, including measles. It also called on mothers and fathers to adhere to the vaccination schedule approved within the framework of the National Immunization Program, which includes two doses once morest measles in the ninth and eighteenth months.
