The political elite and all Indonesian people are invited to be big-hearted and wise in responding to any decisions regarding disputes over the results of the 2024 general election (PHPU). “Let’s maintain the unity and integrity of the nation. All the election stages will soon end. Whatever the Constitutional Court’s decision, we must respect it,” said Political Science Lecturer at Al-Azhar University, Jakarta, Ujang Komarudin. who is also the Executive Director of the Indonesia Political Review, when contacted, Sunday (21/4).

Respect for the Constitutional Court’s decision regarding presidential election disputes is part of respect for law, democracy and justice which must be upheld together. He believes that tomorrow is the best decision for all parties and for this nation so that it can move forward.

“Let the process be determined by the judges, we will just wait for the decision with all humility and wisdom and we must accept whatever decision the constitutional judges make. We believe the law can be upheld. Justice can be done,” he added.

He also hopes that all parties maintain unity and unity. The presidential election, explained Ujang, is a five-year event, but brotherhood among the nation’s children must be maintained completely and forever.

“As long as this nation is still standing, we must unite to build the nation. Different camps, different supports, opinions, conflicts must end immediately. Let’s build the nation together by respecting the Constitutional Court’s decision,” he said. (Z-11)
