Assumption, IP.- The Highway Patrol detained 187 drunk drivers, out of a total of 3,397 alcohol tests carried out in controls carried out throughout the national territory within the framework of the 2015 Summer Plan.
The Caminera inspectors began this work from Sunday, January 25 to Saturday, January 31, through mobile patrol and installation of checkpoints at strategic points on routes and branches within their jurisdiction.
In this sense, this week a total of 187 people were arrested, driving under the influence of alcohol, nationwide.
On the other hand, as of this Sunday, controls began on vehicles with expired temporary license plates ending in 01.
388 people were also detained driving without a driver’s license and municipal vehicle authorization, including minors in control of vehicles and those who did not pass the breathalyzer test.
During these 7 days, 2,258 procedures were reached, for minor and serious violations of the General Road Traffic Regulations that are still in force.
