The rise in water levels in our region’s rivers continues. The regional government announced it this morning, April 23. The situation is especially difficult in the Abatsky and Vikulovsky districts, through which the Ishim River flows. The water level there has already broken a historic record and continues to rise

— From April 24 to 26, the water level of the Ishim River near the village of Abatskoye is expected to rise to 960 centimeters with a further rise and flooding of flood-prone areas. Flooding of houses, garden plots, bridges with low water levels, agricultural land and disruption of road communications between populated areas are expected, forecasters of the Tyumen branch of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center report.
