The purpose of this space is to popularize Druskininki and create a new center of attraction for those who will choose between different Lithuanian resorts in the summer. For the summer season, 9 concerts, free “Kino pavasaris” movie screenings, and comedian performances are already planned for the outdoor space of the “Tech Spa” and “Cantina” bar.
“Over the years, we tried various partnership models, we cooperated with three different restaurants, but in the end we saw that we had to invest ourselves – to create such a cultural space and a bar that would strengthen our work roof project, as well as the Druskininkai event field,” says Tech Zity. manager Darius Žakaitis.
Bar “Cantina” was created in cooperation with the owners of “YDA” bar operating in Vilnius.
“We have great spaces for work and accommodation, but we lacked two elements – cultural activities and a place where it would be fun to spend free time. I’m sure that this development will contribute to growing the potential of Druskininkai – the resort already has everything needed for a good rest, but many people here missed more active cultural activities for the younger audience,” says Karolis Petkus, manager of Tech Spa.
According to him, it is planned to cooperate with the Druskininkai Culture Center, the Youth Employment Center, so that events for different audiences will be held in the cultural yard on a regular basis.
Tech Zity manages four start-up, technological and creative industries locations in Vilnius – Tech Park, Tech Arts, Tech Loft and the future largest technology and creative industries campus in Europe, Tech Zity Vilnius. The “Tech Spa” project, located in Druskininkai, is intended for the working days of company employees.
