The production of Earth is an adventure lasting more than five years, which took film teams to the most inaccessible places to capture extraordinary behaviors firsthand. For almost 2 000 days of filming, these teams filmed the great spectacle of nature, from the Arctic Circle to the most remote deserts, including the depths of the oceans. The cameramen thus braved fires and freezing temperatures.
Thanks to the latest technologies, they managed to film behaviors never before observed. And like never before, they witnessed the effects of climate change on animals and their habitats. Thanks to their images, we discover our land in all its beauty and fragility.
Here is the adventure of filming and behind the scenes of this incredible odyssey around the planet.
A program not to be missed on Wednesday April 24 from 7:25 p.m. on Polynésie la 1ère then in replay on our site.
