When Jean-Philippe Dion told us last week, that the new host of Masked singers had been foundhe wasn’t lying: the show revealed this Monday the identity of Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge’s replacement.

Remember that last month, Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge lost his position as host at Masked singers has following an outcry triggered by the posting online of a racist video which had sowed controversy.
Since then, speculation has been rife as to who would replace him, as this is a big set to pilot.
Hey well, Masked singers chose the right person (and some had guessed it), and it’s Sébastien Benoît!
As we mentioned, several Internet users had guessed it or, at the very least, had expressed their wish let it be him who takes up the torch.
Through his versatility and his ease for several years on the small Quebec screen, Sébatien Benoît is the ideal choice to be the master of ceremonies for the Sunday show.

It will be a real privilege to do my job surrounded by talented people, both on stage and behind the scenes. Remember that this is not the only new face to join the team. Masked singerswhile we learned in February that Véronic DiCaire gave up his place as investigating judge, and would be replaced by Mélissa Bedard.
The fourth season of Masked singers will be broadcast this fall on TVA.
