Cyclist (72) fell in Linz with 1.88 per mille

At around 8:15 p.m., the senior was riding his bike on Dauphinestrasse in the south of Linz when, according to witnesses, he suddenly tore the handlebars of his bike at the intersection with Laskahofstrasse and fell. The police reported that he hit his head on the curb.

A passerby called emergency services, who treated a laceration on the 72-year-old’s head and then took him to a hospital in Linz. The cyclist’s alcohol test was positive: 1.88 per mille.
