“It was good for my career”

An example is the nude scene that she starred in in the first season of True Detectiveregarding which he has a fairly clear opinion formed.

In the first season of the series, which stood out for being a very addictive high-quality serial, Daddario played Lisa Tragnetti, the lover of Marty Hart (Woody Harrelson). Her character left a clear impression on the audience, due to her magnetic performance and the nuances she brought to it.

Some actresses remember their nude scenes early in their careers negatively and as exploitative, but Daddario sees this experience from a different perspective.

The actress admits that she was not fully aware of her attractiveness before True Detective and he talked regarding how this discovery influenced the professional decisions he made from then on.

I don’t think I had been that aware of my sexual attractiveness before that. I tried not to take it too seriously. I really love acting, in my heart I am just a nerd theater, and in a way I took that and said to myself: ‘This is good for my career’ and I accepted it,” said the actress.
