THE groundbreaking for the Sudamala Resort development project, Ubud, Bali, was held on Friday, April 19 2024. This event was attended by the CEO of Sudamala Resorts, Ben Subrata; COO of Sudamala Resorts, Ricky Putra; Director of Sudamala Resorts, Putu Suasta; Director of Finance and Administration of Sudamala Resorts, Novy Nenolaswaty; Commercial Director, I Wayan Suwastana; business partners, Tjokorda Bagus Ariwiryawan and I Gusti Ayu Hariani.
In his remarks, CEO of Sudamala Resorts, Ben Subrata, said that the Ubud area has an important role in the tourism industry. Resorts are one element that cannot be separated from tourist travel needs. Ubud has rich traditions, culture and natural beauty which attract local and foreign tourists.
“The infrastructure development and economic growth that has been carried out by the Gianyar Regency government has encouraged us from the Sudamala Resorts Group, which has successfully operated in Sanur, Amed, Senggigi Lombok, as well as Labuan Bajo and Seraya Flores, to want to enliven the progress of Ubud tourism. Natural preservation and beautiful views “is an option for us to expand our business, especially the hotel and tourism industry in Ubud,” he explained.
Sudamala Resort’s business partner, Pak Cok, welcomed the development plans for Sudamala Resort, Ubud, who has invested in Ubud. “I am confident and believe that the presence of Sudamala Resort, Ubud, will have a positive impact on the surrounding community, namely providing needed employment opportunities for local children,” said Pak Cok.
Sudamala Resort, Ubud, has an area of 5,074 m2. It is equipped with 46 rooms, a spa, swimming pool facilities, and a restaurant. The entire construction is targeted to be completed in 2025. (RO/Z-2)
