Dialogue table between government authorities and students seeks to clear up all doubts

Asunción, IP Agency.- Government authorities call for the third exclusive dialogue table with students from public universities who are in constant mobilization, for this Friday, April 19, at 2:00 p.m., at the headquarters of the National Archive.

This was confirmed by the Vice Minister of Higher Education, Federico Mora, during an interview with Paraguay, during which he said that it is essential to consolidate the conversation with students and “clarify doubts.”

“I believe that Friday’s conversation can also be fundamental to consolidate that conversation and generate clarifications on all the doubts that we see students have today. We are calling for this Friday at 2 p.m. to an exclusive table, especially for students who are self-convened, mobilized, unemployed, who have been there for a few weeks now,” Mora said.

Objective is a dialogue with exchange of precise information

He maintained that the meeting is essential for the dialogue to become an opportunity for direct exchange, with questions and answers, with precise and first-hand information.

“We want the opportunity for a direct exchange, where there are questions, there are answers, where there is precise information, where it can come first-hand,” Mora confirmed.

He maintained that it is essential that there be a fluid exchange during the meeting with the representatives of the public universities.

“It seems essential to us to be able to have a one-on-one relationship and a fluid exchange. I will be with colleagues from the Presidency and also with my colleague, the vice minister, Óscar Lovera, of Administration and Finance,” Mora reported.

He recalled that last week a five-hour public hearing was held in the National Congress.

“We had already been at a public hearing in Congress last week. It was five hours of conversation. I think it was very helpful. I think that’s where the Zero Tariff point comes from. And we understand it. Let’s now move on to other topics,” remarked the Vice Minister of Higher Education.
