Not just anarchists. Among the infiltrators in the student demonstration at Sapienza, which resulted in clashes with the forces of the order, there were also some former BR who, from the height of his experience, provided support and ideological support to the antagonistic realities, also engaging in the squares there where it is possible. And on Tuesday, in the Roman university, together with the students who during the impromptu and unannounced demonstration promoted by the “Coordinamento Collettivi Sapienza” and the “Palestinian Student Movement”, attempted to attack the academic Senate, some exponents of the last Red Brigades were present , those active until the 1990s. All characters known to the police for their past and who today do not get their hands dirty, but prefer to dirty those of young recruits. It is not difficult to meet them in the harshest demonstrations, those that often lead to tensions and clashes with the police, organized by the antagonistic galaxy which within it can boast the presence of social centers, anarchists and university collectives. But the former Red Brigades are always one step behind, avoiding getting into the crowd but encouraging the demonstrators. And it went like this once more on Tuesday at Sapienza, with “its former member of the Red Brigades” who, holding a red flag, agitated the students who were pushing to enter the Academic Senate.

Same story for the presence of anarchists who, according to the Rome Police Headquarters, were unrelated to university contexts. At least five, on which identification procedures are underway by investigators. Also in this case, anarcho-insurrectionism infiltrates universities and student protests, supporting them and conveying them through area sites. It is not the first time, especially since the conflict broke out in the Middle East, that the anarchist world has become a megaphone for pro-Palestine demands by openly declaring its participation in demonstrations organized throughout Italy and conveying messages, as below, which bounce between the various sites in the area: «April 17 at Sapienza was a day of struggle and unmasking of the relationships that the university cultivates (and does not want to interrupt) with the war and Israel – we read -. It is not surprising but it clarifies: in a context of war it is necessary to close ranks and anyone who tries to break ranks is repressed.”
Former members of the Red Brigades and anarchists, therefore, in contexts such as those of Sapienza, represent the “professionals of disorder” who instruct and encourage young people not only in the streets. Precisely thanks to their past, they exert a certain fascination on the younger part of the antagonistic world who in some cases also attend universities. And so, places of dialogue, discussion, study and research are transformed into rings where dangerous ideologies are inserted. Furthermore, among the infiltrators at Sapienza, the police headquarters also reported a Palestinian member of Udap (Palestinian Arab Democratic Union), already known to the police force. And the Palestinian himself, according to authoritative sources, is close to environments that in Italy are contiguous to Hamas.
