Yahya Al-Fakharani reveals scenes from his last call with Salah Al-Saadani
Egyptian artist Yahya Al-Fakharani has revealed scenes from his last phone call with his friend, the late star Salah Al-Saadani.
Yahya Al-Fakharani explained in televised statements that his last contact with Al-Saadani took place last August, to invite him to be honored at the Cairo Drama Festival in New Alamein City.
Al-Fakharani added that Al-Saadani apologized to him for his inability to attend the festival, informing him that he would receive the honor on his behalf, which actually happened.
He spoke regarding the beginning of their friendship which lasted 50 years, saying: “My first work was the play Love and Farksha, written by Salah Jaheen, directed by Karam Mutawa and starring Salah Al-Saadani. and since then we have not separated and we have participated in most of the artistic works together.
Al-Fakharani praised the talent of his late friend Salah Al-Saadani and his ability to diversify his roles and deliver a dazzling performance with each character, stressing that he considers himself lucky to have shared most of his works during of his youth. Yahya Al-Fakharani said: “Salah never disagreed with anyone, he was very educated and he benefited from his culture in his art, which is a difficult thing. »
He pointed out that Salah Al-Saadani received the appropriate honor for his talent, asking: “Who does not know him or remember him? The public is more important than all the honorary diplomas. It is thanks to them that the artist receives his rewards.
Al-Fakharani confirmed that the series “Layali Al-Helmeya” is one of the most famous works of Salah Al-Saadani, emphasizing that he was not the first candidate for the role of “Mayor Suleiman Ghanem”, because the creators wanted to use the late artist Saeed Saleh, who apologized for being busy with one of his theatrical works.
He added: “Salah played the role amazingly and his scenes were wonderful. My relationship with him cannot be reduced to a situation or a memory. He was like a brother and a wonderful person. » Yahya Al-Fakharani stressed that Salah Al-Saadani will not die because of his wonderful art, and that he also gave birth to a talented son, actor Ahmed Al-Saadani, who continues his father’s career . It should be noted that the artist Salah Al-Saadani died Friday morning at the age of 81, at his home, and his funeral took place in the followingnoon of the same day.
