Major sporting events mark the calendar in Paraguay for the coming months

Asunción, IP Agency.- With a varied offer of high-level sports competitions, Paraguay is preparing to welcome athletes and fans from all over the world in the coming months. From padel to indoor soccer, sailing and university and school games, our country is preparing to be the epicenter of exciting tournaments and championships.

The first event on the agenda is Premier Wall Ueno Bank Assumption P2, which will take place from May 14 to 19. In this international tournament, the best padel players will compete on the courts of Asunción, seeking to achieve glory in this exciting discipline.

Immediately following, from May 20 to 26, attention will shift to C17 Indoor Soccer World Cup in Alto Paraná. Young indoor soccer talents will showcase their skill and passion for the sport in an exciting global competition.

Subsequently, from August 31 to September 7, Encarnación will be the scene of the Optimist South American Sailing Championshipattracting youth sailors from all over the region in search of the South American title.

Moving towards the end of the year, Paraguay will host the finals of the National University Games 2024 during October and November and National School and Student Games 2024 in November, where young promises of national sports will compete in various disciplines.

Furthermore, in a gesture of inclusion and celebration, the JLatin American games of Special Olympics 2024 They will take place from October 1 to 15, bringing together athletes with disabilities from all over Latin America to share the Olympic spirit.

Looking ahead to next year, Paraguay anticipates the arrival of the Junior Pan American Games 2025 in July and World Rally Championship Paraguay 2025 from September 20 to 22, an exciting motorsport competition that is yet to be confirmed.
