Both models contain features that appeal exclusively to drone pilots, as the company has equipped both power stations with the Power SDC fast charging feature, designed to quickly charge DJI drones.
The Mavic 3, Air 3, Inspire 3 and Matrice 30 series batteries can be charged from 10% to 95% in just 30 minutes, changing the rules for drone operators who need fast charging.
The Power 1000 station delivers 1,024 watts per hour of power and includes two AC output ports capable of handling 2,200 watts of continuous loads and 4,400 watts of peak loads.
Additionally, it has two USB-C ports supporting up to 140W output, two USB-A ports, and two SDC and SDC Lite ports for various connectivity options, and this unit weighs 13 kg.
DJI also offers the Power Station 500, which provides 512 watts per hour of power. The Power 500 has a similar set of ports to the Power 1000, although it includes the SDC Lite version and does not have an SDC port.
