More than 2 thousand people will gather this Sunday, April 7, at 10:00 a.m., in front of the Regional Government, to give life to the Great Family Bullfight, which will mark the celebration of National Sports Day in Chillán, which includes various activities in the 21 communes of the Ñuble Region and the entire country.
Local authorities called on the entire community to participate in this sporting event that includes the 2.5 and 5 km series and will be replicated in different parts of Chile.
Simultaneously, at the same time, the Heritage Cicletada will begin from Plaza Santo Domingo and in which participants will tour various historical places in the city such as the Chillán Cathedral.
“This is an activity that is part of the National Sports Day, which we are working together with the Ministry of Sports, the IND, the municipality of Chillán, so we want to invite the entire community so that they can join us this Sunday April 7,” stressed the regional governor of Ñuble, Óscar Crisóstomo.
“Participants can arrive at the Plaza de Armas of Chillán to collect their distinctive T-shirts from the bullfight. Strictly speaking, the first thousand registered people who arrive will take the t-shirt, which will be delivered starting at eight in the morning,” said the director of IND Ñuble, Annie Fuentes.
“The first thousand registered on the page www.diadeldeporte.cl will be able to take the t-shirt so that they are identified in this beautiful activity that is so important for us, the community and the Government.” We want to encourage sports practice to combat sedentary lifestyle and obesity,” stressed Julio Jorquera, Ñuble Sports Seremi.
“This Sunday we are summoned by World Physical Activity Day in a joint, virtuous work between the Regional Government, the IND Ñuble and the Illustrious Municipality of Chillán, which seeks to promote and encourage physical activity in the family for all the values that implies,” stated Hernán Blasco, Sports Advisor of the Chillanejo municipality.
