During its 50 years, the Universidad del Sinú announces the opening of the FLOW Happiness Center, a pioneering place in Colombia dedicated to the comprehensive well-being of the university community and the public.
Located in an area of 530 square meters, the FLOW center will offer an innovative architectural design based on the concept of neurobioarchitecture, creating an environment conducive to personal development and connection with oneself.
Starting April 19, visitors will be able to enjoy a wide range of free activities, including:
· Daily yoga and mindfulness classes
· Inspiring conversations with experts on well-being and personal development
· Practical workshops for personal growth
· Ecstatic dance events to release stress and connect with inner energy
The FLOW Center was created to promote emotional balance, relaxation and personal development for its visitors. To this end, a full calendar of activities designed to meet the needs of each individual will be offered.
“We are very happy to open the doors of the FLOW Happiness Center,” said Dr. María Fátima Bechara, Rector General of the Universidad del Sinú. “This space represents an important step in our commitment to the comprehensive well-being of our community and to the building of a happier and more fulfilling community.”
The initiative is supported by the cooperation agreement between Sinú University and the spiritual leader of India, Sadhvi Bhaghawati Saraswati. In addition, he has received the blessing of Pujya Swami Chidananda, renowned head of the Parmarth Niketan ashram in Rishikesh, India.
The FLOW Happiness Center joins the successful “Science for Peace” program, which has had a positive impact on more than 20 thousand people since its inception in 2016. Both initiatives are led by Dr. María Fátima Bechara and the Vice Chancellor for Innovation and Development (e ), Andrea Ortega Bechara, who demonstrates his commitment to building a more harmonious and prosperous future.
