The sports festival will begin this Thursday, at 9 a.m., at the Quilamapu Complex, with the great Inclusive Sports Festival, organized by the Sports Directorate.
The activity includes sports clinics in the disciplines of basketball, table tennis, roller hockey, boccia and soccer, with the participation of students from the Las Acacias, Bernardo O’Higgins, Avanzando Juntos, Persevera and Pasito a Pasito schools.
The coordinator of the Adaes Program of the municipality of Chillán, Pablo Leiva, added that on Friday, always within the framework of the promotion of adapted sports, the Soccer Championship will be held, starting at 10 a.m., at the Población Vicente Pérez Rosales stadium. Inclusive.

Meanwhile, this Friday, at 4 p.m., at the Casa del Deporte, the 3×3 Basketball Championship begins, with the under-14 category. An unmissable sight for children and young people who dream of being a soccer goalkeeper is the Night Keeper Kombat Tournament, a qualifier for the 2024 World Cup in Mexico, which will be held this Saturday, starting at 6 p.m., at the Quilamapu Sports Complex.
The competition includes the participation of categories 6-8, 9 to 11, 12 to 14, 15 to 17 years old, seniors 35 and older and all competitors up to 35 years old. The latter grants the place to the international event in the Aztec country.
“It is a nice activity because the goalkeepers prepare to show their abilities, skills and saves in this position and they can also win a place to represent Chile in Mexico. The Municipality of Chillán supports the activity through the provision of spaces, logistics and the delivery of 15 scholarships to athletes of different ages, plus unlimited places for those who participate in the Adapted and Paralympic Sports category, as explained by the municipal sports advisor. , Hernán Blasco, who highlighted that for the administration of the mayor, Camilo Benavente, promoting sports in its different facets is part of the development of the city.
The tournament has the modality of groups of four with a maximum of 120 participants so that each participant plays a minimum of 3 matches, highlighted the organizer of the Keeper Kombat Nocturno and representative of Rinat Chile, Patricio Garcés.
This year two representatives from Chile will attend Mexico, since the archer event was suspended in 2023 and the person who already has his place reserved is Manuel Manríquez Saldaña from Puerto Montt, who achieved his qualification precisely in Chillán last year.
