Scientists from Harvard University reported that eating 28 grams of yogurt daily was associated with an 18% lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes, while another study showed that eating a daily serving of natural yogurt can lower blood pressure in people who suffer from high blood pressure. .

Scientists have also suggested that bacteria in yogurt might help promote the release of proteins that lower blood pressure.
