MG again reduced its bestseller ZS. You can now buy an already affordable SUV in full fire at the most advantageous price in history

The British-Chinese brand MG only started sales on the Czech and Slovak markets through private imports on June 29, 2022, but today we are already talking regarding an established automotive player with stores and service centers throughout the Czech Republic, and more and more dealers want to join its network.

And that’s no wonder, when MG has a strong business trump in its hands called ZS, which you can buy for under 400 thousand crowns, and there’s also another named MG3 on the way. Don’t you believe? Here are data from the statistics of the Association of Automobile Importers, which registers the first registration with us.

MG ZS occupied a solid 16th position out of 26 possible in its SUV-B segment in 2022, thanks to the number of 392 reported cars in less than half a year. Last year’s data already moved ZS to second place in the segment out of 26 positions with the number of 2,034 cars sold. This year, the car still holds second place and is slowly going following the neck of the Yaris Cross.

In SUV-B, the Toyota Yaris Cross currently leads the sales, followed by the MG ZS.

Anyway, as part of the celebration of 100 years of the Morris Garages brand, the domestic importer has prepared interesting discounts on ZS. The base with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine (106 hp) and a five-speed manual, i.e. the best-selling specification, is still just under 400,000 crowns, while you will pay 35,000 more for higher equipment. So the bonuses did not show up here. So where?

However, the 50,000 discount applies to the penultimate equipment, which consists of a 111-horsepower turbocharged three-cylinder engine coupled to a six-speed manual. For less than 468,000, you get full equipment, including a glass roof, with the exception of the electric parking brake, which is reserved for a similar specification with an automatic transmission, which costs almost 500,000, but does not have a panoramic roof.

Both variants will then offer features such as automatic climate control, a 360-degree parking system, synthetic leather upholstery, heated front seats, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, keyless entry and start, designer 17-inch alloy wheels and other equipment designed for lower grades as well.

The MG ZS is covered by a warranty of 7 years or 150,000 km, and although it is not a perfect car without faults, its price/performance ratio definitely makes it an interesting alternative for all those who want reasonable motorized music for reasonable money. And that is probably the way to success in the Czech Republic, which is also confirmed by the sales figures.
