Twenty-five-year-old Zachar returned to Liberec at the end of January from Hradec Králové in exchange for goalkeeper Lukáš Pařík. At the end of the season, he played 17 games for the Tigers, including the playoffs, in which he scored four goals and added two assists. He previously played 31 matches for Mountfield with the same record.
“I am very happy to return home and I am looking forward to playing in front of the Liberec fans once more. I hope to perform at least as well as before I left here. The White Tigers are one of the best organizations in our country and I believe that I will move on,” said Zachar.
The native of Liberec has so far played 334 matches in the extra league, scored 44 goals and added 37 assists.
