The beloved Flintstones star was spotted in New York with wife Anna Beth following flying into JFK Airport on Tuesday. John was wearing a khaki zip-up hoodie over a long-sleeved blue cotton top and jeans while looking a little frowny.
The Flintstones star, 71, vowed to completely change his life in 2007 and adopt a healthy lifestyle, and it looks like he certainly can and is sticking to his plan. John, who previously weighed 188kg appeared very emaciated and almost… unrecognizable from his previous appearance.
The actor’s fans have seen him star in hits Roseanna and The Conners, with a string of big screen credits under his belt. He has appeared in iconic films such as The Blues Brothers, Monsters Inc, Transformers, The Hangover, The Big Lebowski, Coyote Ugly, Cars and many more.
She became synonymous with flamboyant roles before she decided to embark on a healthy lifestyle. The actor then followed a strict way to achieve his goals following trying and failing several times initially.
John first started his weight loss journey in 2007 when he quit drinking. Personal trainer Mackie Shilstone then helped the actor take his weight loss even further by introducing John to a ‘Mediterranean-style diet’. This includes focusing on eating fish, nuts, olive oil, vegetables and fruits. John also works out six days a week, making sure he takes 10,000 to 12,000 steps a day.
