After the video went viral on the internet, showing the manager of a Geox store refusing a young veiled temporary worker as a saleswoman, and death threats once morest the merchant accused of “Islamophobia»the young woman at the origin of the scandal spoke out in a video posted on Tiktok. “I am a new veiled person”, she repeats several times, all smiles. Before continuing: “Those around me ask me why I veiled myself overnight. Do I have to have a reason?”
