Chile is one of the countries in South America that trembles most frequently; Therefore, it is very important to be informed regarding these seismological events, in addition to knowing how to act, before, during and following a tremor or earthquake. Under this context, I share with you the most relevant data regarding these telluric movements, such as the measures of the Chilean Government, the regions with the most seismic activity, among other data provided by the National Seismological Center (CSN) of the University of Chile.
The CSN belongs to the National Commission for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICYT) and this entity has a network of seismographs distributed throughout the country, which allow seismic movements to be detected and recorded.
