KAM: Belarusian military activity is routine, there is no reason to worry

According to the ministry, Belarus conducts routine combat training of its military forces, which is divided into cycles of different activity. At the moment, the most intensive combat training is underway, during which Belarusian military units are also being observed at the Lithuanian border. Increased activity is observed in all main Belarusian training grounds.

Intensified activity is also noticeable in the airspace. A small number of reservists have also been called up to join the units of the Belarusian army participating in the exercise.

Belarus announces that with this inspection of the military forces it is responding to the national and NATO exercises taking place in Lithuania and the region. Military intelligence is constantly monitoring and assessing the situation. There is no reason to worry.

On Thursday, “Belaruski Gayun” announced that Belarus moved a convoy of 46 vehicles with equipment and soldiers to Ashmena district.

“Units of the 19th mechanized brigade (1st separate mechanized battalion, military unit 14398; 4th separate tank battalion, military unit 22092) were transferred to Ashmena district (bordering Lithuania),” Gayun said in a statement.

It is said that the arrival of military equipment at Ashmena station was recorded last night.
