Luna is a young singer who won the Polish preselection for this year’s Eurovision and will soon represent our country in the semi-finals of the 68th edition of the competition. In recent weeks, the 24-year-old has been traveling around Europe promoting her song “The Tower”. Unfortunately, her performances received a lot of negative commentsand in addition, Luna developed a throat infection and had to cancel her participation in the last two events.
Luna’s ratings with bookmakers are low and Poles are probably slowly coming to terms with the vision of Eurovision failure. Meanwhile, the media in our country is heating up another thread regarding Luna – her origins. It turns out that the singer is heiress to the “ketchup fortune”.

Luna comes from the Wielgomas family. What do we know regarding them?
Luna’s real name is Aleksandra Katarzyna Wielgomas, but since 2020, the singer has been performing under a pseudonym. Obviously she didn’t want to be associated with the “ketchup empire”. Luna’s father is Andrzej Wielgomaswho founded the Dawtona company over 30 years ago.
Currently, the company is a giant on the Polish food market, and the company’s share capital is approx PLN 305 million. According to the National Court Register, the most important functions in the company are performed by family members. He is the president Paweł Wielgomasand they sit on the management board Danuta, Tomasz and Piotr Wielgomas.
Although Luna went her own way and does not currently hold any position in the family business, she already had some connections with it. According to the information available on the Internet, two years ago she performed at the “Sweet Corn Festival” in Marki near Warsaw, organized by her parents’ company. The singer is reluctant to comment on these reports, saying that “I want to create my own life.”
I don’t think it matters much who my parents are, brother or boyfriend. (…) I might work together with my parents, but I always felt that this was not my path – she said in the online edition of the monthly “Forbes”.
Do you appreciate that Luna wants to work for her success on her own?
