In Pachuca, the Cuartel del Arte, located in Plaza Aniceto Ortega, in the Historic Center, exhibits “And on the roads we walk”, an exhibition where people can access various graphic works such as painting, photography and drawing from the collections “ Payment in Kind” and “Heritage Collection” of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, which will remain open from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Another open cultural forum is the Contemporary Art Gallery, within the Digital Culture Center, located at Río de las Avenidas number 200, Periodistas neighborhood, in the state capital, in this space you will find “Interstices in time”, an exhibition by Mario López, Temoatzin López and Xchel Carmona, young artists from Hidalgo, whose works are the result of their work as creators and teachers of visual arts at the Hidalgo State Music School (EMEH).
“Desierto de Papel”: is an artistic and cultural offer found in the Regional Cultural Center of Huichapan. In this space, Aleydis Cervantes Dueñas exhibits a collection of 21 cardboard sculptural pieces that represent the ecosystem of the semi-desert of Zacatecas, with concern regarding the systematic loss of biodiversity that our country suffers. The exhibition will be open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The group exhibition “Symbiosis” is hosted at the Arts Center. A transmutation of terrestrial spirituality”, with the work of Rafael Monroy, Rubí García and Carolina Olguín. This visual proposal is integrated through ceramic, graphic and pictorial techniques. It will be open to the public from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The exhibition “I am black. The female body: root, territory, memory and resistance”, by the artist Alix Yolitzin, can be seen from Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Regional Museum of the Hñähñú Culture, in the Ixmiquilpan municipality.
This project aims to describe, through painting, graphics, narrative and poetics, the female body (an indigenous or mestizo woman’s body) as a territory, in which, as in the colonized territory, realities are embodied. such as racism, discrimination, violence and dispossession.
